sekian.
You have the V? own the V.

Delorentos Gig at Vicar Street, 1st November 2013
hello everyone.
so now i am going to write a short review on Delorentos gig that was held at Vicar Street, Dublin on last Friday. two other bands which are The Academic and Cove were also rocking the hall that night. I was there with two of my friends and we arrived at Vicar Street at around 6.45 p.m. the door was not even open yet at that time so we just joined other fans those were waiting outside Vicar St. at 7 p.m. the door was open. before i went into the hall i bought the band shirt and wore it straight away (just to show how much i like them lol). i stood right in front of the stage even before the gig started.
The Academic was the first performer, followed by Cove. i'm not really sure but i think they sang about three or four song each. as the show went on, people kept on coming into the hall. the huge hall that was quite empty at the beginning was begin to be fully filled. thank God i arrived early and got my place at the front row.
the gig was amayyyyyyyzing. beyond amazing. especially during the closing song - SECRET. everybody was jumping and moshing like there was no tomorrow (including me). Ronan unexpectedly jumped down from the stage and gave high five to everyone in the front row. i went hysterical, like seriously.
nah. i can't find words to describe my feeling at that time. and whenever i think back about that night, i'll be super excited (like now) ahhhh. just see the video(s) and you'll know what exactly happened that night. the crowd was superb! it was the best gig i've ever been in my whole life.

Travel Log Ais-Ais Kacang #14 : A 'Solo' Journey to Northern Ireland
hello guys!
i am just too excited to write about my awesome weekend. i went to Belfast with the boys. YES i was the only girl, with five other boys, taking bus for almost three hours at night from Dublin to Belfast. we arrived at around 11.30p.m. i slept at their girl friends' house. whew.
i can't arrange proper sentences to show how happy i am now. ah. okay okay. cuba cakap satu-satu. haaa.
on Saturday, we went to a castle (i forgot the name!), and then to Carrick-A-Rede and then to the famous Giant Causeway. it was awesome, really! with the breathtaking scenery. but you know, it's quite hard for a petite (lol) girl to walk together with a group of model-height boys. with their long legs, harems penat nak mengejar woi.
ah sudahlah. nah, gambar. haha.

Teratak Budiman Open House
hello guys!
it feels like yearssss since the last time i updated my blog. okay tipu je. baru berapa minggu tak menulis, hiperbola sangat youalls nak rasa macam bertahun-tahun. okay tak nak merepek panjang pun. cuma nak menulis dengan niat menghidupkan semula blog ni dan menghilangkan sawang-sawang kat sini.
first of all nak menyatakan yang SAYAPATAH volume 1 dan 2 dah officially sold out. actually dua volumes ni memang dah sold out since June haritu, tapi disebabkan ada pihak lain yang print dan jual zine saya, tak dapatlah nak buat announcement yang bebenda ni dah sold out. okay. volume 1 dan 2 dah sold out dan tak akan di-reprint lagi. saje je nak bagitahu. like you care kan. daa.
okay okay back to our main story.
for your information, Eva and I are now living together in Dublin. we gave our house's name Teratak Budiman as both of us were in Budiman (green) sports house back then in Muar Science School. sangat semangat rumah gitchew. okay please mind my pasarness and rojakness of language because seriously i don't know what's happening to me T-T and yeah whatever.
Eva cooked soto. I cooked fried fusili with cheese and my signature dish --- chicken and cheddar spring roll. besides those, we also had apple crumble, fruit cocktail, chocolate chip mini muffins and rose jelly. not to forget, air sirap limau. majlis pukul 12-5, tapi pukul 12.15 baru orang mula datang dan BAM 12.30 popia dah habis youalls rasa nak menangis keterharuan je.
overall, it was tiring but fun. okay tu je. bosan kan. siapa suruh baca. kah!

program perubatan berkembar PMC - Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland
this post was specially written for you guys - those who are coming to Ireland to further your study in medicine at Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. i would like to write about the preparations before you come. i don't really know about other universities but i'm quite sure it would be pretty much the same thing as i mentioned here.
i'm sorry, my English writing skill is not really good, but I still want to write in English. why? for your information, during your first or second week, you have to sit an English (written) examination and to those who are 'lucky' enough, you will be placed in Language and Communication groups. 100% of the students in LC groups are from Malaysia, so, yeah. you better watch out. haha! but fret not if you are chosen to be in the group as it will bring you much benefit. don't worry.
books? do you need to buy books before coming here? my answer is yes because everything is more expensive here compared to in Malaysia. the one and only book store in Malaysia (as far as I know) that is selling books that have been used by the students here is Kamal Book Store which is situated at Jalan Pahang, near Kuala Lumpur General Hospital. for the first year, the must-have book is Clinical Anatomy by Stanley Monkhouse. Monkhouse was the professor of anatomy in RCSI for years but unfortunately i don't have chance to learn from him in person. other books like Biochemistry etc are not really important (for me) as most of the things that gonna be assessed will be in your lecture notes. If you want to buy books, there is a book store near to the college that sells medical books, gloves, labcoat, stethoscope etc. you need to have a stethoscope in second year.
laptop? here in RCSI, you'll get a free laptop. yes, FREE! malaysians love free stuff, aren't we? i'm not sure what brand of laptop are you getting this year, but last year, everyone got an HP630 laptop. if you get Macbook this year, i'll be jealous until my last breath. so yeah, no need to bring your own laptop, as it will be difficult for you during the airport security checks. (you know you need to present all your electronic devices during the check, right?)
handphones? as long as you have a smartphone, i think everything will be alright. why smartphones? because smartphones have applications like whatsapp, viber etc that will keep you close to your loved ones. :') but note that Three (the service provider that is being used by most of the Malaysians here) does not support Blackberry.
spices? IT IS A MUST! curry powder, tomyam paste, soup powder, empat sekawan, turmeric powder, aji no moto. everything! Ikan bilis and cili kering are at the top of the list. just bring them in your check-in bag from malaysia.
outfits? a pair of long john is enough. and you can bring a coat and buy some more here. Clarks shoes are much cheaper here so buy them here. hihi. The temperature here in winter can go down to negative while in summer, the warmest i have ever experienced was 25 degree celcius.
anything else? you can always contact me and other seniors for assistants. good luck and have a safe flight! (Twitter: @runaziluz)
ps: these are some pictures for you to look at to boost your excitement lol.

sayapatah zine by Run Aziluz volume 4
i promise this would be a very short update. i am now entering second year of Medicine in Ireland. too many things to learn in a week. ergh.
just to inform you that my fourth zine has finally released yesterday during the Johor Bahru Writers and Readers Festival in Johor Bahru. i would be glad if you bought the zine already hihi. if you just knew about this and would like to buy, do not worry because my friend in malaysia can sell it to you. just ask.
to those who have questions about the new zine, just kindly mention me at twitter - @runaziluz okay? thanks and please wish me all the best in my study.
done.
an emotional post for a mom.
i don't always do this, but when i do, i don't care about how many lecture notes i need to read now for the upcoming examination.
it's true that everyday is mother day. but how many day in the year you truly express your love for your mother, especially when you're far away from her?
you may be the best child in the world who could hug and kiss your mother everyday since birth, but i'm different from you. i wasn't born in a really expressive family so it's quite rare for us to say that we love each other. even if we did, we would go like "eh ni dah kenapa? geli je hahahahaha"
her name is Nor Asiah. she's my first teacher. she's also my teacher when i was six, as she's teaching in a kindergarten in my hometown. she has five children and three of them have got married. she doesn't like to express her feeling; but yet i know she loves us with all of her heart. i can tell by looking back to what we've gone through together.
i know, raising five stubborn children alone is really a hard work; but she managed to do it. she is the toughest lady i've ever knew in my whole life.
i may not be the best daughter to a really wonderful mother like her, but i really love her. yes, i do. i just don't get the chance to tell her everyday.
oh my God i could go emotional if i continue to write about my mother.
I love you mommy :)
your daughter,
Nur Zuliza.

Travel Log Ais-Ais Kacang #10 : Spring Break
it has been a week since our spring break ended. a fortnight of break, it was enough for me to go anywhere else in the world, but i didn't. i stayed in Ireland, doing nothing. okay tipu lah kalau i did nothing for two weeks. tapi itulah. orang lain bercuti ke luar, saya terperap dalam Dublin.
the first week of the break was wasted just like that, i should say. i didn't study much. i didn't go out far. i don't know what i did actually. haha.
saya dah deactivate twitter @cikrunrun tu. kalau nak cari saya, cari lah kat tempat lain. lol macam lah ada orang nak cari saya.
kbye.
ps: counting days. keep calm and love medicine. and listen to Maximum The Hormone. kaki dan badan dah gatal nak moshing. :(
